A beach house to call your own is not only a priceless experience, but the price is right too!

The Beach House Villas, offering dividable (one, two, three or four bedroom) units, are tucked into the heart of Negril's world-famous seven-mile beach.

Swing open the French doors leading to your own patio or deck and breathe in the lush-cious scent of a Jamaican Shangri-La.  A beach house to call your own is not only a priceless experience, but the price is right too!  Imagine to-die-for, oversized accommodations designed by the best Kingston, Jamaican architects; decorated with handmade furnishings of native wood, and so close to the crystal-clear ocean and surrounding white sands!

The Beach House Villas, offering dividable (one, two, three or four bedroom) units, are tucked into the heart of Negril's world-famous seven-mile beach.  Cherish a slice of heaven in an array of coordinating designs like reef fish motifs at the Reef House Villa; jungle animal prints at the Jungle House Villa or seashell motifs at the Beach House Villa.  Whether booking a romantic escape, reunion, wedding or any special celebration, there’s nothing like these tropics to get you into the “Don’t worry, be happy!”  Caribbean groove.  This is what founder George Halasz dreamed of when he completed construction of the luxurious facilities in 2003.  Why worry when each villa boasts its very own housekeeping staff, gardener, 24-hour security, even office personnel!

Moreover, Beach House Villas are easily accessible from Montego Bay’s airport, about an hour and fifteen minutes in driving distance.  The vacation rentals accommodate a range of travelers including couples and families.  “We do a variety of things.  During the last two years, we had a lot of full-property bookings where people do anniversaries and family reunions; we do a lot of weddings, we have a lot of couples; sometimes two couples rent out an apartment; we have lots of families with kids.  You name it, we accommodate just about anybody, because the villas are really geared for anything,” George says.  Wedding receptions can capacitate up to 120 guests and 60 to 65 overnight visitors.

He breaks down the Jamaican villas as follows: four studios; two, one-bedroom apartments; a two-bedroom ocean suite; a one-bedroom apartment penthouse on the water and five, two-bedroom apartments.  Further detailing the property, George says, “All the rooms in the villas are extra large—we have primarily all king and queen size beds; ceiling fans, air conditioning; cable TV.  We have room service from the bar and restaurant that we have on the property.  The property is set up like a jungle like Jamaica was one hundred years ago.”  Other optional amenities include full kitchens, kitchenettes and dining/living rooms.

Yes, you can get one of these spacious villas for a price of a hotel room and Type-A personalities need apply!  Owner George, who was born in France and grew up in Long Island, New York, has interwoven his philosophy into his villa complex.  “I love Jamaica.  I’m a Type-A personality, so when I go to Negril Beach—and I’ve been going there for 25 years—it’s like therapy.  So, I go from a Type-A personality to a Type-B personality; very relaxed, laid back.  I love all the Jamaican people.  I love all the food, seafood and all the fresh foods and vegetables.  I like walking the seven-mile beach.  The water temperature is usually about 80 degrees with one-hundred-foot visibility.  I get to meet a lot of people, because a lot of people go to Negril Beach from the States as well as from Europe.”

Additional extras include nanny and massage services.  Room service is also available from the oceanfront Beach House Restaurant and Bar, which offers casual island dining directly on the beach and is open for breakfast, lunch, dinner or late night drinks.  Speaking about the private chefs, George says they are Jamaican culinary experts, cooking things like lobster, fish and signature jerk chicken.  “They cook everything and anything.  They leave it up to the tourists, and what the tourists want and they make it,” he adds.

George divides his time between Park City, Utah and mid-town Manhattan, New York, still looks forward to visiting the haven that he built in Jamaica.  “I have my own routine there.  I go scuba diving.  I go snorkeling.  I go play tennis.  Sometimes I do nine holes; they have a great golf course there.  I like reggae music, I always have.  They have a reggae show every single night,” he explains.

Sightseeing the Negril Lighthouse or the Roaring River, there are many activities outside villa life.  Within a five-minute walk, browse the open-air crafts markets, the Village Center or take advantage of the tennis courts, volleyball courts or water sports centers offering snorkeling, scuba and myriad aquatic sports.  “You always have something to do; or you can just throw a hammock under a coconut tree, read a book, call the bar and have them bring you a Pina Colada and enjoy the ocean,” George says.  Beach House Villas, your home away from home; likely the one you will prefer the utmost!
