Hyde Park, New York, September 11, 2008 (Hudson Valley) -- Le Petit Chateau Inn, a European-style luxury inn located in New York’s scenic Hudson Valley, offers gourmet cooking classes that include a private food and wine pairing program, individual and group cooking demonstrations, and gourmet lunch and chef prepared dinners.  

In one hour, chefs from the nearby Culinary Institute of America train you to prepare crowd pleasing appetizers, entrees and desserts. The chefs prepare all meals, homemade breads and preserves. Meals feature locally grown produce, organic regional products and organic coffee and teas. The epicurean package is your choice of a private chef lunch and demo or a private chef dinner and demonstration.  

As a former French wine saleswoman, owner and wine consultant Valerie Hail, has transformed her 1900’s farmhouse into a stylish four-bedroom luxury inn dedicated to the appreciation and enjoyment of fine food and wine.  

“We designed the four gracious guest rooms with the world traveler in mind, and each of is named after a famous French wine region,” Valerie says.   

Welcoming food and wine lovers to the Inn from around the world, each guest room features a private bath, fireplace, king or queen bed, cable TV, VCR, and Internet access. Beautiful original art adorns the walls, by renowned Texas artist Jeri Moore. A welcome gift of refreshments and cheese from France greets each guest upon arrival.  

Just two hours from New York City, the Inn provides a year-round escape on its private forty-acre estate, offering views of rural Hudson Valley and a private pond.   

Prices begin at $155.00 per couple for the private chef lunch and demonstration or $215.00 for the private chef dinner and demonstration. Special room rates are available, which includes gourmet breakfast, artisan cheese plates and afternoon refreshments.
