Almond Beach Belize is a new (2004) boutique resort located on a 10 mile beach, near Hopkins, on the unspoilt south coast of Belize.

Our accommodations were designed to provide luxurious air conditioned beachfront Casita's, Honeymoon suites, and pool side rooms where you can relax and regain your energy before exploring the amazing natural world of Belize.

With our partner resort, Jaguar Reef Lodge, we offer a wide range of activities with expert guides. Scuba dive or snorkel the amazing underwater world of the offshore reef and deserted atolls. Get your PADI certification, try sea kayaking or sailing, or experience that fishing-trip-of-a-lifetime. Go for a jungle walk, try to spot a jaguar in the world's only Jaguar reserve, explore ancient Mayan caves and archeological sites.

Come back to your comfortable accommodations where you might want to have an in-room massage, or a quiet drink at the Tiki Bar There you can send an email telling family back home of your adventures that day, and your business associates to go away!

As we built Almond Beach, we scoured Central America for interesting
furnishings:

• Furniture made and hand carved by Belizean craftsmen
• Marble and granite counter tops and sinks from Guatemala
• Tiles and bathroom murals from Mexico
• Art work, slate carvings, pots and statues from local artists in Belize, Guatemala, and Nicaragua.
• Two Nicaraguan carvers spent several weeks carving the decorative posts that support our roofs, porches and verandas.
• Our floors, furniture, and wood finishing are made from an amazing range of local woods including mahogany, cabbage bark and barba
jalote
• Our swim-up Tiki Bar and Beachfront Casita’s were thatched with local leaf brought out of the nearby jungle
• Our units and infinity pool were built by more than 60 local contractors and workers– thanks Balthazar, Louis, Jose and Rodwell for your creativity!

Almond Beach Belize also offers wonderful family adventure packages, and has a special family reunion offering in our two bedroom suites that sleep six, or in our extended family building.

Weddings: After three days in Belize we can help you arrange a wedding on the beach or on our dock or under the elegant Palapa.
