Discover the quiet charm and elegance of this intimate bed and breakfast located on one of the most scenic streets in the historic district. It was built for Tomlinson F. Johnson in 1888. At that time he was manager of the Savannah Theatre. We have tried to preserve the history of the past and filled our home with a number of antiques to give you the feel of the days gone by. We have 12 fireplaces, several parlors and porches, and a beautiful bricked courtyard and garden. Just relax and let yourself be pampered.

Walk through our front doors and appreciate the beautiful 118-year-old mosaic tiled floor, which has been preserved along with the natural woodwork and elegant stairway. The unique floor pattern has been hand painted along the walls to show an appreciation for the talents of long ago. When we greet our guests here, we offer everything we can think of to ensure a wonderful stay.

Accommodations

Lantana: This room has a queen-sized bed and is furnished with a TV, ceiling fan and private bath with shower.

Rose: This room has a lovely hand carved mahogany queen bed, private bath and shower, two comfortable antique chairs, its own TV and the ambiance of a fireplace and ceiling fan.

Camellia: This room has a queen-sized Sleigh bed. There are 2 comfortable wing back chairs and a full bath with a whirlpool tub shower. Hand painted lace stencil patterns accent the room giving it a warm and tranquil feel.

Geranium: This suite is tastefully decorated in a Victorian style. The lounge comes complete with cable TV, sofa and a writing desk. The bathroom has a modern and uniquely designed shower. The large airy bedroom has a full fireplace and lots of windows.

Magnolia: Spacious room with a king size bed which, if given ample notice, can be arranged into twin beds. The room is furnished with a fireplace, 2 sitting chairs, antique armoire, TV, ceiling fan and private bath with shower. It is stenciled in the soft colors of the magnolia flower.

Dahlia Suite: Probably our most elegant suite. It offers a sitting room, queen size 4 post canopy bed, fireplace, ceiling fan, TV, and kitchenette for special snacks. The room is painted in a majestic blue with hand stenciled gold trim. Full bath with a whirlpool tub.

Ivy Suite: Quaint and Cozy - All the comforts of home, but without the work, Private entrance, King Bedroom with fireplace, small kitchen and full bath with oversize tub. Additional Queen Bedroom Available.

Hydrangea Suite: Antique furniture, electric heater. 4 poster queen bed in the front Room. Eating area that seats 4. Full kitchen large enough to cook in and a beautiful queen bed in a separate bedroom. Private bath with whirlpool tub / shower. Apartment offers phone and TV. All this off a beautiful courtyard with a garden, tables and chairs.
