Applewood Manor Inn Bed & Breakfast

Applewood Manor Inn Bed & Breakfast is a spacious 1912 New England Colonial Revival Inn perched on 1.5 sprawling acres in the Montford Historic District, located immediately adjacent to downtown Asheville. Boasting large porches and private balconies, our B&B has become a favorite for Asheville visitors. The Inn and rooms are accented with fireplaces, balconies, antiques, art and much more. Each room has it’s private bath, televisions with DVD players and ipod compatible radios. A full three-course breakfast, afternoon tea & wine with cheese & fresh baked snacks, fresh flowers, turndown service with chocolate are all part of the offered amenities. There are five spacious rooms plus a romantic cottage. The Cortland Cottage and MacIntosh room are equipped with therapeutic champagne bubble tub. All rooms have queen or king beds. Your owners/innkeepers are Larry (a Buncombe County/Asheville native of six generations) and Nancy (a native of Kansas and a Registered Nurse). The Applewood Manor Inn Bed & Breakfast has been one of Asheville’s longest continuous operating Bed & Breakfast Inns. The house will be eligible for application to the National Historic Register in 2012 when it has reached its centennial age. Larry and Nancy are the seventh owners of this magnificent structure, and the fourth owner/innkeepers since its conversion in 1987. By paying particular attention to fine details, we take extra pride and care in making your stay with us restful, pleasant and memorable. In a time when so much is overlooked in the hustle-bustle, we invite you to romance yourselves with a stay at the Manor.

Romance packages can include massages, roses, double dipped chocolate strawberries and more. Group Meetings/Retreats: Our Inn can be utilized for your very private personal wedding or for small quaint weddings of 20 people or less. Our Inn can accommodate very small corporate conference meetings of 10 participants or less and only in conjunction with the leasing of the entire Inn and our six rooms.
