Hello, my name is Alberta and I am excited to extend to you this welcome as the Innkeeper of the beautiful Ascot Country Inn, a unique bed and breakfast located in the heart of Virginia's finest horse country, just a stone's throw from Middleburg. We are an historic colonial estate on 19 gently rolling acres in the shadow of the Blue Ridge Mountains, where the air is fresher, the birds sing sweeter, the sunsets are more vibrantly colored, and the stars glimmer brightly in the clear night sky.

I'd be delighted to host you during your stay at the Inn! We have seven lovely guest rooms and suites for you to choose from, all individually decorated using luxurious fabrics, rich colors and period furnishings. All of our guest rooms have private bathrooms with Jacuzzi tubs, in room telephone systems, iHome iPod stations and wireless internet access, and most have satellite television and gas log fireplaces. I can help you make the perfect choice for you, but I'm sure you'll agree that we've found the ultimate balance between old world charm and modern indulgence. And the food! We have three Victorian gazebos, two decks, our Royal Ascot Room with its unique galleried second floor, and our Canterbury Conservatory with floor-to-ceiling windows. We can help you create a special package that reflects your unique, individual style.

If you're looking to explore the countryside, we'll pack you a picnic lunch and you can hike nearby Snicker's Gap, where with little effort you'll be rewarded by a bird's eye view of the entire Shenandoah Valley. Or, explore the colonial towns of Middleburg and Leesburg, with their eclectic shops and fine dining. Feeling lazy? Settle yourself on the Inn's front porch, for a well deserved afternoon of R and R. Wedding Facilities: The Ascot Philosophy: At the Ascot Country Inn,  your wedding is as important to us as it is to you. We offer a casual but elegant intimacy that allows you to enjoy your special day without feeling rushed or overwhelmed. We focus solely on your wedding; therefore we allow only one event per weekend. Unlike other event sites, your guests won't be leaving our Inn while the next bride and her guests are arriving. We have several different packages designed to fit every budget, however, since every aspect of planning your event is important to us, for further information and pricing we ask that you contact the Inn directly. We do not send pre printed packets of information, as we choose to treat each bride as a unique individual with unique needs. We recommend that you make an appointment to visit the Inn and discuss your wedding day needs with us personally.

The Ascot Country Inn is the perfect place for an elegant country wedding. Hold your ceremony in our romantic, old-fashioned gazebo  decorated with flowers, while your guests look on from their comfortable seats under the lush Maple Tree on the front  garden. Then, retire to the back deck set amid a sylvan glade of greenery and century old boxwood, for beverages and hors d'oeuvres.  Finally, enjoy an elegant reception in the Canterbury Conservatory and the Royal Ascot Room, with its intricate wrought iron railings and glowing stained glass chandeliers.  Because the Ascot Country Inn is dedicated to providing you with an exception level of service, we do limit the number of events we run each year to ensure that your event is exclusive and that we are able to devote the time and expertise to your special day that it deserves.

he Ascot Country Inn offers a selection of “A List”  event professionals, florists, photographers, musicians and DJ's to assist you in planning a most memorable event. To ensure your complete privacy as well as the comfort of our guests, we do require a minimum two-night rental of the Inn's accommodations when your wedding reception is held on a Friday or Saturday.  

Meeting Facilities: The main meeting facility and the showpiece of our Inn is our two level Royal Ascot Room. The upper level is an excellent small meeting room or breakout area for an intimate group. Available on the upper level is a 42” high definition flat screen television, perfect for DVD presentations. The first level of the Royal Ascot Room is capable of a variety of seating configurations for a larger number of people and provides for maximum productivity of the group.  

Attached to our Royal Ascot Room by a series of six sets of double French doors is our Canterbury Conservatory. Modeled after an intimate French Bistro, complete with a hand painted mural of a Parisian street scene, the Conservatory is best used as an elegant dining area nearby but separate from your meeting space. Surrounded by windows, your attendees will have an unobstructed view of our courtyard gardens and our private deck area. Two attached gazebos can be used by smaller groups as breakout space or al fresco dining.

Wi-fi access is available throughout the Inn, as is multi-line telephone service.
