Chanticleer Inn
Just 10 minutes from Downtown Chattanooga, visitors can not only view 7 states from Lookout Mountain, which straddles the states of Georgia and Tennessee, they can spend a comfortable night atop the peak in this B&B. Chanticleer Inn, built in 1927, it has the same mountain stone exterior as when it first opened. However, the inn's 17 rooms in five cottages and the Main Inn were renovated in 2002. Chanticleer's country theme includes English antiques and hardwood floors. Guest rooms feature all the amenities plus little extras with some accommodations such as private patios, fireplaces or adjoining rooms. A full home-made breakfast is served every morning. Guests may relax by the living room fireplace, use the Inn's pool or take a stroll around the landscaped grounds. The Inn is part of the historic community called Fairyland on Lookout Mountain. Hiking, golf, tennis, and a spa are nearby. Directly across the street from Rock City Gardens (with 4,100 foot walking trail past rock formations, caves, and gardens), less than 5 minutes from Ruby Falls, Point Park Civil War Monuments and Incline Railway.
Group Meetings/Retreats: The wedding ceremony may take place in our living room, sun porch, front stone patio, or courtyard (weather permitting). cake cutting and champagne may be held in the breakfast room, sunroom or outdoor front patio.
