Open all year, the John F. Craig House is a gracious, yet fun place to be year- round in Cape May, NJ. We have open porches for summer and glassed-in porches and fireplaces for winter. Our great location is in the middle of Cape May's Historic District, just a block from the beach and a block from the Pedestrian Mall, our town center.

The John F. Craig House is actually two houses under one roof! A pre 1850's house was moved here and attached, when the "new" 1866 house was built. Rooms 1, 2 and 3 are charming examples of this early Cape May construction with lower ceilings (and floors not always level). In the 1866 house, the 3rd floor rooms 7 and 8 are located in the dormers and are more casual reflecting the fifty years the Craig family enjoyed this "summer cottage."

Guestrooms and Suites

All rooms of our New Jersey bed and breakfast have private baths, a fireplace, individually controlled air conditioning and heat, cable TV with VCR and HBO, coffee makers, refrigerators, hair dryers, irons, and duel controlled heated mattress pads. The rooms are Victorian yet comfortable, so go ahead and put your feet up!

We hope you can come and relax at the John F. Craig House's Bed and Breakfast Cape May, but if you must work (even a little) we have WiFi connection throughout our New Jersey bed and breakfast. Just off our main parlor is a hideaway, our Library, with a wired private connection at the desk, a comfortable chair and telephone. Bring your laptop, close the doors, work, and then come out into the a New Jersey air and play some more.
