Situated in a historic part of Vienna between St. Stephen's Cathedral and Schönbrunn Palace, Hotel Kugel offers its guests a traditional, relaxed Viennese atmosphere, its surroundings a wealth of famous sights.

The Kugel Hotel provides the traveller with 15 individually and tastefully decorated double canopy rooms and a very relaxed atmosphere. The rooms are designed for a variety of different tastes and not two are of the same decor.

You may enjoy the deep, rich colours of our Asian Room or the bright, light freshness of the Springtime room, a wooden Mayflower bed from Danmark or a brass bed from Finland, they all reflect our devotion to quality and beauty, and all this at very affordable rates.

But we blend the new very carefully with the old - some of our rooms have still the original brass made coat hooks dating back to the early 1900`s when Art Noveau was so popular. The rooms are equipped with Sat-TV and channels in German, English, Italian and French, a bathroom w/shower and/or tub, WC, hairdryer, safe, mini-bar and telephone.

The famous Vienna Ringstrasse with its magnificent buildings is only a few minutes' walk away and the museum district with its wonderful art collections starts at the bottom of our street. Should you wish to use public transport, bus or tram will take you there directly from our hotel. There is direct tram connection to Belvedere Palace and a ride of less than 15 minutes will take you to Schönbrunn Palace, the summer residence of Empress Sisi.
