Since 1658 this pretty house has stood on
the sun terrace in the Lower Engadin and we, the 4th and the 5th
generations of the Meisser family, are your hosts. Welcome to our home!
Everything is small-scale and cozy. The ideal place to take a break amid
the healing influence of the eternal mountains and to renew your
strength again and again.

The building was built as a farmhouse in 1645 and has been in the
Meisser family since it became a hotel in 1893.
Enjoy a wonderful meal in our Panorama restaurant or on the terrace or a
barbecue in the garden and at the same time delight in the unique
mountain views - an unforgettable experience. Eat a breakfast fit for a
king at our plentiful wholesome daily buffet which is created with your
health in mind. The imposing dining room was created from a hay barn at
the turn of the century.
The "count's room," panelled in warm Arven wood, the one time "stüva
sura" (the upper parlor) with it's painted ceiling showing the coat of
arms of alliance between Jenatsch and the Planta families in 1720. All
rooms have ensuite bathrooms with bath or shower and toilet.
Time seems to stand still here: Guarda is a picturesque peaceful village
in the Engadin. Charming and unspoiled Guarda received the Henri-Louis
Wakker award in 1978. The region is sunny, has a low average rainfall
and a mild climate. Guarda is situated 1650 m above sea level.
For our 110 Year anniversary we offer a week special as 7 days for 6

Group Meetings/Retreats: We offer a
special atmosphere in historic buildings for festive gatherings,
meetings, banquets, receptions, weddings and other events. The
Jugendstil Saal can take up to 55 people, a wonderful room of the late
19th century. Ideal for banquets and weddings. Beautiful garden with
outstanding views of the Engadine Dolomites. For open-air receptions,
cocktail parties up to 100 people. Bar Sepan, American bar - most
original place in an old stable, unique. Best location for receptions,
get-together parties from 5 up to 50 people.
