Our
pleasant, family run resort is situated on a lush
mountain 770 feet above sea level with views overlooking
the Caribbean Sea, the Pitons and the Soufriere rain
forest.
Nearly
100 years old, the main guesthouse was originally a
cocoa house used for fermenting and drying cocoa beans
picked on the estate. In 1995, the building was
converted and refurbished into a 6-room guesthouse. The
self-contained cottage is a refurbished copra house
where coconuts are processed.
Although
the rich aroma of cocoa beans no longer wafts through
the air, you can enjoy the perfume-scented, tropical
fauna or the warm salty breeze that blows off the
Caribbean Sea.
Guest
rooms at La Haut have a modern-urban theme,
ranging from linens in an earth tone colour to mahogany
furniture, to compliment the pleasant surroundings and
views. There are fifteen rooms in all, which have a
small kitchenette with tea/coffee making facilities,
toaster and fridge. A Balcony to sit down and relax in
the rocking chair while gazing out at the beautiful
Caribbean sun as it sets behind the Pitons.
Other
