The Inn at Fairfield Farm operates on
the Marriott Ranch as a traditional Bed and Breakfast with ten rooms and also
serves as an unparalleled site for small, effective meetings or retreats. Group
activities include horseback riding, jeep adventures, clay target shooting to
name just a few.
While today the working
cattle ranch with well over 1,200 head of cattle
continues to be a respite to the Marriott family,
friends and associates, the Marriott Ranch also serves
as a premier Northern Virginia outdoor event site
hosting company picnics, executive meetings and
retreats, weddings and other social events.
Additionally, there is a riding stable on site with 45
horses offering guided western trail rides to the
general public. Just as Mr. Marriott retreated to and
rode the Ranch with U.S. Presidents and business leaders
from around the world, Marriott Ranch still provides
guests and companies with the same benefits.
Located at the center
of the 4,200 acre Marriott Ranch is the historic James Marshall Manor House
(circa 1814), which is the focal point of the Inn at Fairfield Farm. The 10
comfortable bedrooms along with afternoon beverage service and three course
breakfasts serve to remind guests of the true meaning of hospitality.

the Washington D.C. Capital Beltway, the Marriott Ranch offers a variety of
horse-related activities, none more popular than our ninety-minute trail rides
across parts of our beautiful 4,200-acre working cattle ranch. Located in the
foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, riders will enjoy themselves whether
riding through pastures, across creeks, in peaceful woods or among grazing
cattle.
Group Meetings/Retreats: The Marriott Ranch is
a unique event, meeting and outdoor activity site.
Four separate and distinctive event venues are available on our 4,200 acre
working cattle ranch. Whether you are looking for the perfect place to hold a
corporate picnic or an intimate setting for a wedding, Marriott Ranch provides a
variety of choices to suit your needs. The Pavilion area is
ideal for hosting large corporate picnics for over 1,000 guests or just a few. Additionally, it can be transformed into a
candle lit reception or dining area for your picture perfect wedding. The
Pavilion is an enclosed building with a length long retractable wall that can
seat 135 guests inside or more guests may be seated in the adjoining outdoor
area.
The
James Marshall Manor House is the historic center piece of the Inn at Fairfield
farm, a ten room bed and breakfast located in the middle of Marriott Ranch. The
Manor House public spaces are open to the public and can be booked for private
or public events with seating for up to fifty guests. Guests of weddings, family
reunions corporate dinners, holiday brunches and the like have enjoyed the warm
atmosphere provided in the stately Manor House.
Travel back in time by
hay wagon or on horseback to Marriott Forks Western Town, complete with hitching
posts, a replica of a small town main street from the old west, covered area and
a pit for a roaring camp fire. Western Town is a quaint old fashioned venue
ideal for western style barbeques, picnics, social gatherings or a group of
friends that simply want to enjoy each other's company in a beautiful, relaxing
setting.
Finally, our stables
offer a casual environment capable of hosting meetings up to 50 people in the
Trail Barn Loft meeting room. Start your day out with a working breakfast in the
Loft conference room, and then hit the trails after your meeting on one of our
western style horseback rides. Lunch and dinner can be provided at this site as
well.
