The historic Port d'Hiver
Bed and Breakfast is old Florida luxury at its finest. A
comfortable yet elegant oasis across the street from the
Atlantic Ocean, Port d’Hiver is a private compound of
four Island style buildings surrounded by lush tropical
landscaping , beautiful fountains, large private
porches, a bubbling spa pool and winding brick paths.
Breakfast at Port d’Hiver
is a wonderfully relaxing event. From 8:30 – 10:30
guests enjoy gourmet fare of locally grown orange or
grapefruit juice, fresh baked breads, fruit and a choice
of entrees served at individual tables in the dining
room, courtyard or delivered to your room for a more
private experience. Fresh brewed coffee, tea, cocoa,
cookies, sodas and snacks are available 24 hours a day
and at five o’clock wine and refreshments are served in
the main house.
Fish, surf, dine, or watch
the sea turtles...Melbourne Beach is a barrier island
only a half mile across from the ocean to the Indian
River Lagoon. Guests cruise along the river on our
complimentary bikes, help themselves to a couple of
beach chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards for a day at
the beach or lounge by the pool with picnic box lunches
for two.
Our friendly staff also
offers full complimentary concierge services to help
make the most of your stay with eco adventures, spa
services, VIP dining and more. Wireless high speed
internet is available both inside and out, flat screen
TVs, a collection of DVDs, evening turn down service
with a sweet treat and only the finest amenities are
provided. On Ocean Avenue, Port d’Hiver brings history,
nature, privacy and comfort together in one luxurious
seaside retreat.
