This beautiful, 2 story transitional home, is located 20 minutes from the Blue Springs area and 35 minutes east of Kansas City, MO. We offer three themed guest rooms with all modern amenities. There is a large fishing pond that is loaded with large bass, hybrid bluegill and catfish. Fishing is permitted for catch & release or catch enough for your dinner that you'll enjoy cooking on the large stainless steel grill on the main deck. Fishing license "is not" required, Just don't forget your Gear!

Accommodations:
Safari Room:
An African Safari styled room is complete with a king size canopy bed with handmade tea stained bed sheers; vaulted ceiling with wood carved ceiling fan; vanity set; fireplace; sitting chair and night stands. This guest room is located on the second floor and has a shared bath with the Egyptian room which offers an oversized Jacuzzi tub, shower and marble sink area. Plush bath robes are located in each guest room.

Fleur De Lis Room:
This elegant room with French decor', is complete with a queen size bed with a down feathered mattress cover that makes this bed so amazingly soft & perfect for those that love to cuddle. This room offers it's own view of the pond & pool areas. The private bath is adjoining to the room with a large sink area, tub and shower. There are 2 glass sliding doors to this room in which one opens onto the swimming pool patio and the other in the room, opens onto the front deck facing the pond area. The decor' in this room is done in a variety of Fleur De Lis items, taupist gold stripped wall paper with a flower sculptured border and contemporary works of art.

Egyptian Room:
Our most spacious room, fit for a Pharaoh and Egyptian Queen, offers a King size carved wood sleigh bed and a high vaulted ceiling with a wood carved fan. The decor' is reminiscent of early ancient Egyptian times. This majestic guest room offers it's own private deck with a beautiful view of the pond & pool areas as well as a fireplace.

Dining:
Sunset Acres Specializes in Romantic Candle Light Dinners.  We can serve from 2 to 8 for small dinner parties or special luncheons.   Gourmet is our preference. Example: southern baked apples with a vanilla cream sauce; Italian egg soufflé; warm chocolate soufflé; pecan encrusted grilled pork  loin; marinated chicken breast in red grapes, red onions & wine; key lime pie & cheese cakes; honey ginger carrots; maple pecan scones, etc...  We also offer Italian, Pizza & Mexican buffets, BBQ, or Classic English High Noon Tea for groups of 6 or more.  All of course, are homemade and provided with the best service and sittings!

Meeting Facilities:
We offer wedding services for up to 50 guests for a lovely outdoor wedding on the pool patio or gazebo or for 20 guests or less for an elegant indoor service in-front of the fireplace. What could be more romantic then having your wedding at one of Missouri's most Romantic Bed &  Breakfast? With 12 peaceful acres and a pond as a back drop, The in-ground swimming pool with the fountain running and beautiful flowers in bloom  everywhere, the Gazebo overlooking the pond and front field with the candles and star lights on..  How  romantic!! We can do as much or as little as you like. Base price starts at $90.00 per hour with a minimum of 2 hours  for an outdoor wedding and $140.00 per hour for an indoor service also with minimum of 2 hours. Prices are higher on Friday & Saturdays.
