The Bay View Terrace Inn is a Vintage Hotel and
Restaurant built in 1911 in Bay View, Petoskey,
Michigan. Bay View Association was established by the
Methodist Church in 1875. In the late 1800's, Bay View
added cultural and recreational activities to its
spiritual programs, and became associated with the
Chautaugua Movement which originated in New York. By
1900, nearly 500 Victorian Cottages had been built,
along with the John Hall Auditorium, Post Office,
Church, Theatre, and facilities to house music students
and faculty. Bay View continues to operate from May
through October offering world-class musical and theatre
productions, as well as many recreational activities
like sailing, tennis and golf. The location along and
across from the shores of Little Traverse Bay is just 1
mile from Petoskeys downtown shopping district and 45
minutes south of Mackinac Island.
Functions: We can accommodate 125 for meals, and
with 37 rooms a minimum of 74 for overnight
accommodations. We have excellent group packages which
include 2 nights lodging, 3 meals plus breakfast, for
$109.00 per person plus tax. The Inn is open year round
except March and April. We have hosted many successful
events.

in-season seats 40. Ice Cream Parlor open in summer can
seat 25 and can be rented off-season for small groups.
