The Mooring is the restored home of Walter Reid the donor of Reid State Park, now owned by his great granddaughter Penny and her family.

Group Meetings/Retreats: From the intimate wedding of 10 to the extravaganza for 125, The Mooring B&B is the spot on the coast of Maine to host it. The Mooring has beautifully landscaped grounds with wonderful old plantings, some which go back to the early 1900's. There is a Pergola directly on the ocean edge to exchange your vows and we have a large groomed lawn to have your tented reception and wonderful music while enjoying a great meal prepared by the Mooring staff and Island Caterers.  We can host small meetings or groups on the porch or in the Spanish room.
